The GOP appears to be the party of cowards and Lott used to be one of their leaders.
and now on to the next republican that dares to stand up for what is right and good. I feel nothing for the GOP over this smear since they are as much to blame as the rats!
It's amazing that nearly all the Demos put their body on the line to defend one of their own (Bill Clinton, remember him?) when he did wrong. By comparison, the cowardly Republicans, ran away, went into hiding and, eventually, joined the stone-throwers when Lott did... nothing.
Will the GOP and its members learn anything following this episode? Well... they are also known as 'the stupid party'. And W is their leader.
