Yeah, it'll be funny as Hell to see them try and try and try and fail and fail and fail. The Dems are a bunch of nuts.

I dunno. So far they've done a pretty effective job of taking out Newt Gingrich, Bob Livingston, Trent Lott, and just about any other prominent Republican who's dared to stick his head up. And they still have 997 more FBI files to go. This isn't over yet.

"The Dems will regret the day they started this..."

It's hard to pick which is the bigger loser in this, the Dems or the Media. Because this is one

Huge Collosal Backfire

The same Rev. Al, who agitated against a white shop owner in Harlem until someone torched the place, resulting in the murder of about six people.

That this piece of garbage has any credibility at all says much about the media, and that includes the conservative media as well.

"Frist wont be so easy to bork."

Since the Senate does not confirm Majority Leaders, there will BE no borking. Plus, Frist is just about as squeaky-clean as it's possible to be. The Media has really shot itself in the foot on this whole thing.

Dr. Frist has said Columbia will now curtail its current extensive marketing campaign, end the controversial physician partnership arrangements fostered by Scott and acquiring community hospitals where there is strong community resistance. Further executive changes are also expected.

Frist's father Thomas Frist founded the HCA-Hospital corporation which merged with Scott's Columbia in 1994. His younger brother Republican Bill Frist is U.S. Senator from Tennessee. Sen. Frisk, who sits on the Senate Republican healthcare policy committee, held $13.9 million in Columbia stock in 1995.

You knew it was bound to happen: Sharpton trying to take credit for Lott's stepping down...

No worries. Now Sharpton can set his sights on "Sheets" Byrd and "Stars and Bars" Hollings, or explain why he doesn't.

However, since the press won't hold Sharpton accountable, the GOP needs to step up and confront the race-baiters straight on, or have no excuse for complaining.

One of the first victories for civil rights was when the Republican party was formed to fight slavery.

Agreed, but why are so many people blind to that fact? It's frustrating.

There is a thread over at DU to slam Frist, go there. Everyone else is moving on.

I hope everyone enjoys GW's ride, because he won't be in office in 2004.

You think he's going to resign or die?

Zing

That one is easy. On Fr most of the people are republicans, not conservatives. Same in the rest of the country. No different than democrats, they follow the party line, Bush shoots his wounded comrades the republicans cheer him on.
