Isn't is ironic? Lott's last act was one last, final cave to the extreme left wing of the Democrat Party. I think that this is quite fitting.

Carville, Jackson, Begala among others urged Lott to stay put. How do you view this as caving to left wing?

Snakehead et al remembered that old adage "Be careful what you wish for". The rest of the screamers, like Congresswoman Mad Max Waters or Queasy 'n' Fumin', failed to remember this.

I saw a halfassed comment from Carville on a crossfire transcript saying he forgave Lott, but from my read of it Serpenthead was being tongue in cheek. I didn't actually watch it so it's hard for me to actually gauge how heartfelt it was.

I'm not saying you're wrong but could you please proved a link to prove your statements?

I can't find one Democrat who actually urged Lott to do anything except give up the SML.
