Isn't is ironic? Lott's last act was one last, final cave to the extreme left wing of the Democrat Party. I think that this is quite fitting.
Carville, Jackson, Begala among others urged Lott to stay put. How do you view this as caving to left wing?

I saw a halfassed comment from Carville on a crossfire transcript saying he forgave Lott, but from my read of it Serpenthead was being tongue in cheek. I didn't actually watch it so it's hard for me to actually gauge how heartfelt it was.
I'm not saying you're wrong but could you please proved a link to prove your statements?
I can't find one Democrat who actually urged Lott to do anything except give up the SML.
