Can't provide links, but Dec 18th on CNN's Crossfire with Begala and Novak as hosts, Carville came on to say he "now sees the light, and accepts Lott's apology"

You can learn alot about the Dem's propaganda machine by watching these goons.

Me thinks they over did it. They didn't want Lott to resign.

That was the show I just wrote about, and to me it sounded like Carville was being sarcastic.

I think 'rats did want Lott to step down and that is exactly what they have been saying since the beginning. Whether they really wanted Lott to step down or they needed to say it to stay true to their black constituents is an irrelevant intellectual distraction.

What matters now is has Lott's gaff hurt or helped us.

'rats would like to believe they were successful in removing Lott...they were not. Bush, with the American public, was successful in removing Lott. I have my misgivings about what this episode says about political correctness and loyalty. Woe to anyone who gets on Bush's bad side.

Some have been speculating that Bush wanted to remove Lott because he didn't feel Lott would promote his agenda. I find it just as easy to believe that Bush, and most of the GOP, was motivated by morality...as misplaced as I believe that moral indignation was...it is now harder to paint the GOP as tolerant of racism.

I was wrong about Lott. I thought he would never step down and if he were forced out he would take the party down with him. Bush is either an outstanding persuader or has something I cannot perceive with which to buy off Lott. I have once again misunderestimated Bush. I cannot truthfully say I am unhappy about it.

We may have come out of this a stronger party, while the 'rats have endured a couple weeks of media highlighting their hypocrisy.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
