Exactly. This Pelosi spiel is a non-issue.
The midterm elections proved this to me. The American people, thanks to outlets like Fox News and FR, the internet, etc, people are seeing what the lefts means and stands for. In a post 9-11 world, the American people dont want to discuss socialized health care, or alot tax dollars to more social engineering projects. National Security, the economy, the War on Terror and Iraq are what the People of America are focused on. And the Conservatives, Republicicans, whatever you want to call them, are the best people for the job of fighting terrorism. Can you see Tom Daschle with his pink tie or Gore with his sweatstains on Sept 20 2001? Im referring, of course, to Bushs historic address to the nation after 9/11. The dems can have this minor victory, because like you, I believe the nation is buying what the Dems are selling. Just my opinion.
This is a lesson good mothers have been teaching their children for a long time: be careful of what you say, because you can't take back the bad things you say.
As for that abortionist fake-Catholic b*tch Pelosi (and her nasty race-baiting colleagues), I hope she continues to speak up. I smell another "Wellstone Memorial Moment" moment in the making........ Heeheehee........
I'm not so certain about the political savy of the common American. Not all people are as aware of politics as the posters on these forums.
After hearing the "man on the street" interviews on such programs as Sean Hannity, reading posts at du, I wonder just how much the common American knows about politics in general? Do they really consider the issues or just spout the rhetoric they hear from people they look up to whether they be leaders of the community or other public figures such as film stars, basketball players or musicians?
