My sister lives right near snow.

If she lives near "Stowe" then she lives near "snow." LOL! I knew what you meant! :-)

My Dad and I rode the ski lift up to the top of the mountain there. I must have been around 12, so we're talking about 35 years ago. It was scary because when there's no snow, you are WAY up in the air!

We got really brave and the next year (I think...it was soon after) we rode the ski lift up to the top of Black (?) Mountain in upstate NY. I may not remember the name of the mountain, but I DO remember it was so high, there were ***two*** ski lifts! Mom and my older sister waited at the bottom for us! :-)

When I was a little girl growing up in Vermont, there was one of those mechanical rope lifts where a rope was circulated up and down the mountain on big wooden pulleys like a huge clothesline. You hung onto the rope and slid "UP" the hill. It was pretty neat.

OK....I'm outta here in a few minutes!

Libertina should be back any time now...she will handle the "hostessing" duties for the remainder of the time.

Love and {{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}} to all of you! I will be anxious to check back in while we are on the road. If I miss any of you, Have A Blessed Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year. May God be with you throughout this busy time of year. It is because of Him that we celebrate!

Above all, Be Safe!
