"Governor George W. Bush's former business partner and most generous campaign contributor appears well positioned to prosper from a quiet Bush proposal that could lead to private companies running state mental institutions," staff writer Polly Ross Hughes wrote in the Houston Chronicle February 25, 1997. ** The story went on to relate how the day after the former U.S. President's son broached the idea in his state budget message, Rainwater, Inc. bought 95 psychiatric hospitals for $400 million from Magellan, eight of them in Texas.

Oh good, now to prove a point you are posting articles from the Houston Chronicle. Apparently your point is that only Lott is the honorable person (pay no attention to his brother-in-law's large checks in the tobacco settlement) and President Bush is corupt.

Please drop this line of hogwash. It is unbecoming and carries the Rats' water.
