I just can't believe the morons in Washington who would elect such an imbecile and the incompetent Republican Party that can't recruit a candidate who might win.

Not only elect, but freaking REELECT.

Isn't this halfwit the infamous Mom in tennis shoes or some similar BS?

It was King, Snohomish and Pierce counties that elected her, plus a little help from 5 others on the West side of the state. Only one, Kittitas on the East side of the Cascade Mtns. voted for her. There are 39 total counties in the state.

FYI. Last Sat. she was the commencement speaker at the fall graduation at WSU. My kid was getting his Masters in Business Administration.

Her speech was etrocious. Horrible. She told the grads that this was the worst job market in four years. The administration was ignoring such things as precription drugs and unemployment extentions, etc.

Also, she talked only about herself and her accomplishments. For instance, her main accomplishment at WSU, when she was an undergrad (wondered how she even graduated) she led the fight to change women's dinner dress code. So afterward they could wear grubs to dinner instead of being dressed nicely. Her first job after graduation was for minimum wage.

According to her, she really arrived when she was elected to the Senate. Also, she protested the Vietnam War, even though her dad was a disabled WW11 vet.

I told my wife that she would have to see a chiopractor the next Monday to put her shoulder back into joint because she had thrown it out patting herself on the back.

p.s.Most lpeople didn't clap.

That's right, Patti Murray was a pre-school teacher before running for the Senate, and her logic reflects that.

Thanks for the replies I lived in Washington State near Tacoma during both of Patty's runs, my frustration from watching the election of an imbecile is why I was so quick to launch an attack on my fellow Washington State voters.
