Does anyone know if this was the only DNA sample taken from the victim. I seem to recall that she had been raped multiple times. Would forensic testing be able to isolate different DNA molecules?

Yes, sort of. With one semen sample from her, they could say fairly definitively whether any of the five was involved (in the rape at least) - even if there was DNA from another person there.

What are you referring to? From the munerous articles I have read (and there are links in this thread) they brutally beat the s**t out of her - basically tortured her and left her for dead, and looks as though they had some kind of sexual stuff going too. Even if they didn't ejaculate in her body, those kinds of crimes deserve extremely heavy punishment.

I'll let all you fine folk debate the finer points of this case. But one of the things that has bothered me about the media coverage of this case is the bastardization of how these thugs described their actions that night. These punks were doing the "Wild Thing" that night, not "WILDING" as some old fogey like Larry King kept saying until it acquired credence. Wild Thing the song has had a number of incarnations and this event tallied with one of them. For what it is worth...
