You get real, name one thing he has been conservative on. Oh, wait, yeah, I remember, denying vets the ability to collect both disability and retirement benefits. What was I thinking?
Oh maybe that shouldn't count as a good thing, especially when the Farm Bill threw the care and feeding of immigrants back on the backs of tax payers instead of their sponsers, gutting the Welfare Reform Act just signed by Clinton. Compassionate Conservatism: Compassion extended to everyone but Americans, especially vets.
How do you feel about the new agreement to transfer Social Security money to Mexico, bet you like that don't you. The "new republicans" usually have not met a liberal program they don't just love.
Of course, given the new GOP there is very little room for conservatives in it, eventually, all conservatives will leave the GOP, the sooner the better as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you for your reasoned response (/sarcasm).
Thank you for your name-calling ("new republican").
Thank you for letting us know you consider President Bush to be like radioactive poison (ref: your Chernobyl/Russia comments).
Thank you for telling me what my views are....based on NO facts...only YOUR assumptions ("...you like that don't you. The "new republicans" usually have not met a liberal program they don't just love. ")
Further discussion with you on such an emotional level is useless and a waste of FR's bandwidth.
I wish you well.
