I refused to acknowledge the loss of tax revenue because of the underground economy? let's see:

" I do? I live in Dallas, Texas. We have a bigger ILLEGAL economy here than most cities LEGAL economy. I worked in Restaurants for 20 years. Most of the employees are ILLEGAL. The construction and landscaping industry is built on ILLEGAL labor. OUR responsibility is to protect OUR borders and OUR tax base. Mexico's responsibility is to theirs. "

From post #104. Illegal labor is obviously hurting our economy. Did you even read this post?

You, like most on the thread see this issue as a immigration problem or an illegal immigration problem and it is not.

You and others can bitch and moan about immigration but the US doesn't have any options. You and others can bitch and moan about illegal immigrants but until the US sits down with Mexico and develops a worker entry program they will be crossing the border illegally and they will be preyed upon and the US and Mexico will suffer a loss of revenue because of it. This loss of revenue is large and growing.

BTW, have you Republic of Texas people kidnapped anyone lately?
