I'd be happy to ship a couple of copies your way when you determine who's to get them...I'll also include a check that I promised the DC Chapter months ago for your after freep get togethers. Tragically, my DC contact's addy was lost in a fatal hard disk crash.

Wow - even more cool, Carlo individually wrapped each of the books. That's class.

Thanks a bunch Carlo - it was a pleasure doing business with you. JL

That's very kind of you re the cookbooks, but I have enough cookbooks to mail out. I'm just telling Carlo3b I'm buying more from him! Yeah, he signed and separately wrapped my books too. Wow, it looks great. Exit148, your hot chocolate cake recipe will be the first one I try!

Lodwick, as to making a donation to the DC Chapter, we're still out some $ from the last rally. If you want to donate, I'd be the last to discourage you. The donation information is found at the "contacts" button at this website: www.dcchapter.com.

By the way, while we're discussing conservative books, perhaps you're interested in Michael Graham's new book, Redneck Nation. It's written from a conservative perspective and it shows how the intolerance that the North rightly criticized the South for more than 40 years ago is now being weirdly replicated by an intolerant Northern Yankee culture that no longer celebrates meritocracy and individual achievement.

He views as a part of this new northern "redneck culture" the Northern intellectual establishment's distate for Christianity and its embrace of what should be a thoroughly discredited theory that blacks have a different "learning style" or that mediocrity in intellectual achievement should be accepted in the schools as normal or expected.

There's a review of the book at here.
