Leader says sorry for remarks on Holocaust

A former native American leader apologised yesterday for comments made last week suggesting that Adolf Hitler was justified in trying to rid the world of Jews.
"I am ashamed and truly sorry for my conduct," said David Ahenakew, a former chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations and the Assembly of First Nations. He made the comments last week to a reporter from the Saskatoon StarPhoenix newspaper.
"The Jews [expletive] near owned all of Germany prior to the war," Mr Ahenakew told the reporter on Friday. "That's how Hitler came in. He was going to make [expletive] sure that the Jews didn't take over Germany or Europe.
"That's why he fried six million of those guys, you know. Jews would have owned the (expletive) world. And look what they're doing. They're killing people in Arab countries."
His comments evoked sharp criticism and led the Saskatchewan government to ask the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to investigate possible hate crime charges.
Mr Ahenakew apologised to the Jewish community. "I'm deeply sorry for the pain I caused you," he said.

Then, again, the white folks and their Old World grudges and battles might not mean all that much to this guy, and it's terribly impolite of the white Canadians to impose their narrow attitudes on an American Indian anyway.
The way to resolve all this is not for the Indian to bow his head, give in and say he's sorry for insulting the white folk - it's to have all the white folk get in their boats and go back home and out of North America! (from the Canadian part where they still engage in this sort of oppression).
That way they will never again have to feel insulted when an American Indian says syomething negative about them.
The fact that he would even expect Jews to accept an apology after one of the most virulently hateful statements I have ever heard is why the Jews are doomed.
If he had said this about any Muslim group, he would be dead within a week. Period. Someone would kill him and they wouldn't care what happened to them if they did so. We would be counting the hours and taking bets on the exact date and time of his impending death.
But Jews will likely accept his apology, pending 50 hours of re-education about the Holocaust. Pathetic. If they simply nicely invited him to a meeting, and then cut his throat, people would think twice before saying such things ever again. Similarly if Jews in France started shooting to death Muslims who attacked a synogogue in any way, those attacks would soon end.
The Jews actually had a man who had a backbone. His name was Meir Kahane, and he was murdered by a brother of one of the 1993 WTC bombers. Jews had attacked and spurned him mercilessly, and banned him from Israel, much to their eternal disgrace.
He only cares if the police will cart his sorry #ss of to jail.
In this way, I can understand the anger of the Jews at such the statement by Ahenakew. Ok, I will leave them out of my diatribe. The RCMP are launching a probe under Canada's hate crimes laws. The instigator is one Chris Axworthy.Saskatchewan Attorney General. Oh, this 'ere is one immigrant, that KNOWS certain Canadians.
I return to my native dialect and say- 'Ippocracy,bloomin' ippocracy. Just give a clever lawyer the chance to call Axworthy to the stand. First question to 'im. "Have you ever used a racial epithet".? Second question to 'im. "Have you ever laughed at an ethnic joke".?
He could then lie in his teeth. LOL
I don't see any way out of this dilemma for you folks other than dissolution and evacuation. That's the only way you are not going to be insulted by an Indian who has tried to push his way into your society.
They pretty near courtmartialed the old lad for summary execution of 6 of the unauthorised American forces. Methinks the old fiery curmudgeon might rise up and once again repel our now American friends.
A bit of a thought though,on your suggestion, as I cross weekly, into the Land of the Free. Sincerely hope the First Amendment stays put - otherwise I would not even dare to make these posts. Cheers
