Any one know if this "Deutsche Welle" is a reputable source? If so, this could explain the desire to thwart UN action re: weapons inspections.

Absolutely reliable. DW to Germany is like the BBC to Britain.

No, it's as reliable as they get over here. I mean this is the government's newmedia, like the poster above said (i.e, with BBC). This is a true bombshell, but no surprise.

What the hell kind of Gov't does Germany have going on over there? THis is an outrage.

Somehow, news that Germany is covertly selling WMD to a nation hellbent on gassing Israel isn't the least bit suprising

Amoral, as usual for Germans.

Hell, they will acuse us of being way to close to Israel. Then they look the other way as the PLO Brownshirts and SS try to kill the Jews. Same story. Different century.

What the hell kind of Gov't does Germany have going on over there? A socialist one, soon to be a National Socialist one.

Saddam reminds me of Hitler. Go figure Germany would be involved.

Same story. Different century. Yep, but perhaps this time Israel will do the honors when it comes to payback.

So what's this have to do with Trent Lott? He hasn't resigned yet. As long as he's been labled a racist by the Jessies, Sexist by the NOW dykes, Homophobe by the gay marrage agenda, why not add Germany lover? Or Saddams right wing buddy?
Might as well add on while they can.
I'm still waiting for the enviro-waco's calling him a cold blooded murderer for cutting down a pine tree for Christmas!

I remarked over a year ago that Germany bears watching and is not to be trusted, I got flamed. This certainly sheds new light on the German Defense Ministers trip to China to whisper in each other's ear about our Missile Defense System and leaving the ABM treaty. Germany was dead set against both.
There was a movie out recently, "The Sum of all Fears", about a Nazi group trying to start a war between the USofA and Russia, it may not be all that far fetched if China is substituted for Russia.

German arms industry huh?
Soon we'll be hearing that old favorite.....
Deutchland, Deutchland, Uber Allis...

That movie was based on Tom Clacy's book of the same title, but the original plot had radical Muslims as the antagonists, not white neo-Nazis. Of course, that was way too politically incorrect to be showing at such a "sensitive" time for American Muslims, so the movie studio changed the script.
