I must disagree. Lott's groveling is ignoble but nothing he has done compares to the moral turpitude of the Bent One. He is simply a politician trying to save his political neck after a monumental blunder. That having been said, I would be happy to see him resign from his leadership position so that we could get a better leader in the Senate - one who possesses some vertebrae.

Lott's groveling is sickening to watch and just keeps this ridiculous issue on page one. I want him gone, but I also don't want to lose the majority. Chances are that we've lost it anyway... If Lott stays, he'll be so bitter that he'll be more of a RINO than ever.
