Rep. Meeks is right on when he says "We will not tolerate those kinds of thoughts" because he understands that Byrd's claim, "There are white niggers. I've seen a lot of white niggers in my time" it means that Byrd still hold
"that concept" of black people.
Byrd obviously doesn't include all white people, but when that slur is used with reference to black people, it's all inclusive. No doubt about it, Byrd is still a sheet wearing, cross burning Grand Kleagle at heart.
And the Democrats tolerate a racist in their leadership.
