This whole flap is a bunch of B.S. The fact that someone inferred Lott was talking about segregation, and went ballistic is outageous when compared to the existence of the Congressional Black Caucus. These people are resegregating everybody by race, gender, or sexual identity. If Lott implied, half of what the liberals actually do do, he would have been strung up by now.

As I was channel surfing last night, I ran across an author named Tammy Bruce who had taped a C-SPAN segment at UC Davis. Her book is entitled "The New Thought Police" and is on Amazon. She's a liberal lesbian but really shares many values with conservatives - she really hammers the left on a number of issues. I think her book might be worth a read.

Yes, we've seen her stuff around here before. I believe that she stuck it to Clinton and the NOW NAGS during the impeachment wars, and Doug From Upland (the song guy) knows her fairly well, too.

Saw it too, and I was mighty impressed with Ms. Bruce. I loved it when the two (clueless) girls walked out during the Q & A---totally proved her point.

Well that's a little harsh. I would say ambient temperature, if you add in his thoughts. It's in the 50s today.

He's alive and well in the GOP as well. You can be rest assured that Bush and Pointdexter are not so far from this line of thinking at all.

I thought about that, too. Just look the way Bush and/or Rove has treated Rep. Tancredo over immigration.
