I have been saying all along that this is not a racial issue.

It is a freedom of association issue.

We no longer want to associate with Trent Lott.

However, the anti_Lottites used the race-naiters to do what they couldn't accomplish on their own.

So although they didn't want to associate with Trent Lott, they did associate with race-baiting to accomplish their goal.

Hardly something to write home about.
