If I do, it's because you are still advocating that Lott take the most petty, self-serving, destructive path he could possibly take...a path that would take the GOP down with him.
If Trent Lott is the only thing keeping the GOP together then it wasn't worth keeping together. I don't think anyone wants to start digging in another's closet in Washington. There is plenty of trash to go around.
