this article is like a breath of fresh air. Most freepers, myself included, know lott is not a racist, and that his comments were taken out of context. what gets me is that many freepers keep saying they want lott to step down because he is not a good leader and not because of the his so-called racist statement. if this is true, where were all the threads before he made his statement(how long has he been majority/minority leader)? basically, many fear that the race card will be pulled in future elections butt are to hypocritical to admit it, instead they claim he is an inadequate leader and he must go. the freepers who really think lott is a racist are just plain retarded.
