I am so GD sick and tired of the constant blowing of the bellows on the flames of bigotry to keep racial tensions alive that I could scream. The white people in this country have accepted equality between blacks and whites. I don't know what can be done to stop this insanity.

Blacks are more hate filled now than they were during the Selma thing. What is wrong with racial pride? It is like family pride. I don't denegrate your family so that mine looks better in the publics eyes. I am proud of my family, as you are of yours. I don't need to rewrite history in my race's favor, I don't need to prove my god is better than your god. I believe in my God and that is enough! You believe what you want to belive. It's ok with me, has nothing to do with me or mine. The dixiecrats of yesteryear
were democrats. It has been the Republican Party that has calmed the racial divide. The democrats keep it alive and well and they use the black public shamelessly.

It is time for this to stop, for it will eventually be the undoing of us all.

If we're going to have a serious discussion, we need people to say what's on their minds.

And they say that white Americans are the group that is most discriminated against in America and that there's no one protecting their interests.

We need to move toward race-neutral affirmative-action policies and guarantee people a working wage. I believe that affirmative action never reached down to the people who were most disadvantaged.

What we need is:

freedom of association, not civil "rights" (really "wrongs")
an end to government discrimination against whites
an end to illegal immigration
qualification of legal immigrants based on their ability to adapt to American culture, not race

She has a better concept of reality than Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Maxine Waters, but she is still way off base in many areas. She presumes to define the white's position, without the benefit of having discussed it with white people of varying levels of social status. It is not just the well educated whites who reject the tenets and methods of the KKK, but the majority of caucasions. If racism in America wasn't deader than too many race pimping blacks and white liberals are willing to admit, the stinch that can be stirred up over a few poorly chosen words of praise on a hundred year old retiring statesman's birthday, would never even be noticed.

What is evil about a country controlling it's own borders and regulating immigration? What is evil about punishing those who commit crimes and protecting the law abiding from such? Should we set a racial quota on locking up criminals, so prisoners represent their percentage of the population as a whole, regardless of who is committing crime or the viciousness of the crime? Do we really want the inmates to run the asylum?

We, the law abiding and proud of our USA heritage, Americans of all races and ethnic groups should never allow ourselves to be turned one against the other, by the enemies of all we hold dear, whether they look like us or not. The cultures we came from are as diverse as ourselves and are ours in joint custody. We preserved the good, discarded the bad and our culture is better than what our forebears left behind. If some choose to damn as nationalism, our pride in our one culture molded from the best of our many cultures, so be it; but let us stand forever united.
