How pervasive are those FBI files to reach not only politicians but also big money in NY and Hollylala land?

Hitlary's appetite for destruction is insatiable. We are pleased when it is the Democratic Party that is being destroyed, and anguish when it is the nation. Either way, it won't be over until she is over.

I thought Gore's decision not to run was made a little premature. He has all but led us to believe he'd be stating his decision probably in January.

**One answer may be Hillary's efforts to block Gore's fund raising.**
Inquiring minds want to know the real truth now.

No way did Hillary want Gore to run in 2004, If he won she could not give it a try until 2012. Now she can try in 2004 and in 2008.

Hillary was demanding to occupy the vice president's office, next to the Oval Office. Oh boy!! What a scenario that would have been!

I think its pretty clear she will run in 2008. She's avoiding 2004 for good reason. Everything negative about clinton is still fresh in peoples minds, and will be drudged up. Heck even Gore lost, and everyone Billy boy supported got beaten. History has a way of making the past look better, a good example would be the white washing of Jimmy Carters presidency which was horrific in its stupidity. In 6 years, she can talk about good ole days that never were, and will have softer political image, while in all likely hood be the most well known of the people who run.

If Hillary wins, she will make Al Gore look like Pat Bucannon.

New York Observer promised, "We won't forget." Let's see if they keep their word:
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3a9d7bc20319.htm
"Some day soon, public interest in the Clinton administrations final disgrace will fade, and the former Presidentif not his wife, our junior Senatorwill retreat from the headlines. Then, after an appropriate interval, we will start seeing phony photo ops and pious public pronouncements. Here and there, the Clintons will begin their latest rehabilitation: Here is the junior Senator, hugging inner-city children; there is the former President, lecturing his successor on the finer points of statecraft."

I certainly do believe Algore was the victim of Hillary's machinations as much as his own boorishness. Hillary wants to run for President and wants to keep the decks clear for 2008. If President's Bush popularity has collapsed by then she could be last moment entrant in the Democratic field. If not she'll make sure a non-entity is nominated who'll lose in November so she can emerge as the party's savior in 2008. I mean mean who was the Gorebatross kidding?? He'll never be President and the cold hard truth is Hillary has a claim on the top job first.

She will run in 2004, if nothing else as a test run. There is always the chance that President Bush's poll numbers will tank, just as his dad's did. Two years is a long time, and there are going to be lots of stumbling blocks for George W. Bush.
If she doesn't win in 2004, she will have the base built for the 2008 election. I would imagine it is a personal goal of hers to win in 2004, as the clinton's could then claim they "saved America from both father and son". 2008 won't have the same level of enjoyment because Mr. Bush can't run again, she has to beat him in a fair race.
As a side note, and as an example; my local newspaper printed an editorial today titled "Let there be no question" in which they stressed the importance of the Bill of Rights, printed the original 10 and then charged that the Patriot Act sponsored by this administration with violates every one of them. It closes by saying we should all be thankful that the ACLU has stepped forward to protect us from our government.
