2nd Amendment Voting record of Frist that you conveniently omitted:

- He voted Yea to confirm an anti-gun Clinton judge.

- He voted against defeating the Hatch-Craig gun control amendment.

- He voted Yea on an amendment forcing gun sellers to include trigger locks with every purchase.

- He voted Yea to gut the Smith amendment. This allowed Janet Reno to police the FBI regarding gun registration.

- He voted Yea on the young adult gun ban, which would severly penalize parents if their children even touched an "assault" weapon (like a little Ruger Mini-14).

- He voted against replealing the Clinton/Brady medium capacity magazine ban.

- He voted against a Lott resolution that called for tougher enforcement of existing gun laws and protecting the general rights on gun owners.

This can go on for a long time, but suffice to say that for every one instance you can give me of Frist voting pro-2nd Amendment, I can give you 2 instances of the opposite.

Oh please, not EVERY pro gun amendment or resolution is a great, or even good idea. And the anti-gun judge...I'm sure if you looked hard enough, every conservative Senator could be tarred with that one.

His votes on these issues probably get him a lot of support from the women of Tennessee. Maybe enough for his margin of victory over his democrat opponent.

You called Frist "anti-2nd amendment" and I merely c/p'd from a web page with his gun voting record, in response. If that voting record is "anti-2nd amendment" by your standards, then I don't need to waste any more time on you.

I don't do kooks.

That might just mean that he looks at each measure separately, weighs the pros and cons, and votes accordingly?

How have his specific votes, on specific measures, impacted your own personal gun ownership and usage?
