Lott has indirectly threatened to quit the Senate altogether if he is removed as Majority Leader.

Do you have any evidence that he has done this?

Stated before. My opinion. It is an effective tool for him to use. Funny, he only plays hardball with his own party.

It was leaked in a phone call among 20 senators and Jon Kyl my senator stated he wouldn't be surprised one bit about Lott leaving if forced out...
