I don't it matters what Republican Black office holders are saying anyway... In 2000 we got 9 percent of the black vote... does anyone think that by forcing Lott out it will get us anymore than that anyway?

Standing on principle is vastly more important than mere political expediency. Segregation is morally repugnant and indefensible. Anyone who believes otherwise does not belong in the leadership of the Republican party.

Republicans can capture the moral high ground and put this to bed once and for all if Republican leaders demand that Lott step down as SML. Otherwise it looks as though he was sucessfully hounded out by the rats and the liberal media and we grudgingly went along.

BTW, listen carefully to the rats. They don't want Lott to step down....now what does that tell you??????

No, but we might get far less than 9% if he stays now. The dims will keep on using this as a weapon for as long as they need it.
