Why did Tony Snow allow that piece of filth I-Reek-Disease on the show? He just gives him a forum to further his lies.

I thought the segment with Lieberman and Lugar was reasonable. As for Levin, he will not be satisfied until every source of intelligence is compromised and a bunch of people who are helping us get killed to shut their mouths.

Paul Gigot (WSJ) on Meet the Press: "I think he (Lott) owes the Senators a vote." [Exactly]

He said clinton's was private morality...Lott's was PUBLIC morality.

So the good Reverend thinks there's a difference between private and public morality? Methinks he needs to brush up on the Good Book.

However, we as a party need to realize also what could happen and be prepared .. because the Left is not going to back off
***

This is the key point. Throwing Lott overboard will not stop the drumbeat of Republicans are Racist.

1) Do you remember what Republican-administration-haters did to Dan Quayle? He spelled a word wrong in front of TV cameras. From that day forward every word from his mouth was dismissed.

2)Did President Bush drag that Texan in the NCAAP ads to his death? Did the NCAAP imply that he did?
Do black 'leaders' have any credibility in telling Republicans how to act!

Just curious. Did anyone else see Lloyd Grove ( I think his name) on Fox yesterday? He said that Carville is the guy who heard this comment and started the calls to media, Jesse et al.

Lieberman, emboldened perhaps by the Lott fiasco, attempted to place the N. Korea problem onto Bush ( what a joke)- not Clinton. Half glasses Levin was a bit scummy backing only a UN lead war against Hussein. Their back!

Would the Dems back Llieberman, who is Jewish, for President when we will be heavily involved in the Mideast for some years to come ? Why has this not been discussed.

Carville and about 1,000,000 other operatives. They seem to congregate around the house and senate.

That is why Lott has to go.

Did President Bush win the election? Did Trent Lott open his mouth, insert his patent leather shoe, and eat it--again?

Is this why wife Mary stepped down from her White House insider post this week? The timing is interesting.

the rumor is that Lott is a closet homosexual. I don't know if that is true, I am not saying it's true--it is just what the rumor mill says.

Looks true to me.

I think the punishment should fit the objectionable behavior. Giving the Senate back to the democrats is too severe a punishment.

Mary said she would be leaving at this time a year ago because of her kids. This is no surprise.
