White House Memo Asserts a Scandal Theory

By John F. Harris and Peter Baker
Washington Post Staff Writers

Friday, January 10 1997; Page A01

The 332-page report documenting an alleged "conspiracy commerce" of scandalous "fringe stories" about President Clinton was compiled by a young White House aide toiling in an obscure corner of the Old Executive Office Building. But there is little doubt it reflected views held strongly in the Oval Office.

Dear Mr Rather,

If "reporters" don't know if they are Republican or Deomocrat, why do 95% of them vote for Democrats? Just blind chance?

The Left's political figures need a whipping boy to explain the slide in their fortunes. The media hasn't changed its spots -- nor its urgent need to conceal them as best it can, without surrendering its bastions and their influence.

When's the last time you saw a media report on a new government spending program challenge the cost or necessity of it?

"It's one of the great political myths,'' insisted Dan Rather in 1995. ''Most reporters don't know whether they're Republican or Democrat, and vote every which way.... And also, let me say that I don't think that `liberal' or `conservative' means very much any more."

Uh Huh. So explain why ratherbiased.com is such a motherload of liberal bias about you Dan, you pinhead? When Katherine Harris was about to certify the Florida election on that Sunday afternoon in December 2000, CommieDan repeated over and over "Remember, this is HER opinion only", and he never could bring himself to say this ended the Gore team's scam on the election.
