Did Lorne Micheals buy Phish? I have never seen a band get so much attention in the skits, etc... That's what they call synergy in the ad business. Al is a cold fish (someone here at FR called him Albagore the Robotic Tuna), and most of his core voters probably smell like dead fish. So it's only natural to include Phish in the skits, to reinforce the symbolism.
