Lott supported Bob Jones' tax exemption, not their policy on dating.

A request for clarification, as I often get my Bob Jones controversies oncfused: was it the tax-exempt status or the eligibility of Bob Jones students for federal financial aid and student loans that Lott supported? Or both?

I don't know. I read one poster state that the case in controversy involved tax policy, which would mean the exemption. And I don't know the merits of the legal argument, because I don't know how the statute reads.
