The League of Nations had not teeth. The UN has no spine. Short of the US or S. Koreans (unlikely) bombing the place, the N. Koreans will do what they want, when they want to.

Unfortnuately, it's up to us. North Korea's regime is an abomination to all that is right and good. I think South Korea will follow if led, but not initiate.

I actually did a study of North Korea in graduate school, even before the famines. The Kim family has abused the North Koreans abominably, and now is frightenly threatening to world peace.

Remember folks, in Kim family lingo: Feeding citizens, bad; creating uranium for nuclear weapons, good.
