You're right, Mama_Bear, having local children in the Nutcracker is so charming! (Especially if they're yours. :) Tonight I "persuaded" my mom to make gingerbread houses with me. I had a potpourri of candy decorations left over from school and the little milk containers for the house structures... We both had fun and they turned out to be so cute. Wish I'd gotten them done in time for the wonderful Gingerbread House thread! (LOL but I believe I'm getting a digital camera for Christmas, so perhaps I'll get pictures posted belatedly. :)

That would be great! We LOVE pictures. And, I am enjoying the little holiday vignettes that are being posted on the Finest thread. It's nice that people are sharing a bit about what is going on in their world this Christmas. :-)
