This scandal is so...Zen. Wherever you go, there you are.
Anyhow, didn't Lott look so fierce todayprotecting his own worthless hide?
Just goes to show why he needs to exit the ME post. But if people want to defend him on the basis of him becoming the latest "victim", then go right ahead.
I just love the Hillary fingerprints excuse, the FBI files excuse, the RINO excuse, the Bill Kristol as Fu Manchu excuse, the Jesse Jackson excuse, the Tom Daschle's evil plan excuse, blah, blah, blah. It's as if Willis Carto just took over the minds of half of FR posters.
The Lott-defenders are looking for the wrong fightand a losing onehere. This debacle is based on a remark that many Americans find, not just offensive, but an reminder of their worst fears. It was a stupid statement, which was rightfully interpreted as an endorsement of institutionalized racism and state-sponsored terror, which Jim Crow was, damnit.
Yeah, so the neo-cons, Drudge, the race hustlers, the media and now the cretin wing of the Democrats are bleating the bleat to dump this dude. To a large extent, I do not blame them a bit.
Well, wherever you go, there you are.

I don't either... but it didn't bother them having an ex KKK clansman as Senate pro-temp though did it?

Yep and now we have state-sponsored terror of another kind. The terrorism of branding any dissenting opinion as racist. A brand which carries the professional lynching for anyone that carries it even if falsely applied. There is Racism "goin' on around here" but it sure as hell is not coming from Lott.

With the reparations debates coming up do you think whites are going to be able to sweep all of this under the rug ? It's good to have it come out now, before the race hucksters control the debate. This is a lot bigger than most people realize.

Didn't Lott look so fierce todayprotecting his own worthless hide?At the podium, Lott conveyed the intensity of a 260 pound fullback bulldozing toward the end-zone. What a warrior...
Meanwhile, at the Clinton Impeachment trial he did his best impression of a sickly Shirley Temple...
If Freepers are noting Lott's new found testosterone at the press conference, surely some of his Senate colleagues must also be rolling their eyeballs about it as well. Will we see a "new" tougher Lott in the Senate from now on??
Naah...
