No. Not every member FOUGHT for it. There was a lot of intimidation to keep the status quo, but nobody forced Lott to fight and lobby for white only fraternities. He could have sat silent. He could have opposed the effort to keep it segregated. He didn't. He actively supported segregation. There's a big difference.
