I checked out the Dixiecrat platform. Section 3 seems to be a rejection of Truman's demand that "subversives" in the Army be identified and put on a "list".

He issued that order in 1947.

In retrospect over 54 years it makes the Dixiecrats look like they were in league with the Commies, doesn't it?

At the same time, when comparing those party platforms, we should never forget that the Democrats ended up nominating an active, practicing racist who had actually taken actions that resulted in the deaths of millions of people who were of a race he simply didn't approve of.

So, whose hands are clean in this?

I never said the DEMS hands were clean. I have not posted anything saying anyone hands are clean. A question for you, why doesn't the GOP/RNC point out what the DEMs thought back then?
