Not quite...
White-people baptist churches are un-PC. African-american baptist churches who support race-baiters like Jackson et.al. are PC.
Also, La Raza speeches in Hispanic catholic churches are quite PC.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Wife said there may be a time soon when stores can't sell them...Wrong. I hear it everywhere--including my daughter's public elementary school. I see it on TV. There is a beautiful show on Animal Planet called "Animals of the Nativity" all about the story of Jesus' birth. The songs sung at my daughter's school, btw, include "Away in a Manger", "Silent Night", "Pat-a-Pan", "The First Noel". They do sing Jingle Bells, too. I suppose some would think that cancels out the others...

There are several suspect posters on this thread.

My remark was a cynical tongue in cheek satement reflecting the times.. a couple of days ago there was a thread abut a merchant being booted out for selling Confederate flags.
Our Grand daughter sings in several groups and is the leader of the High School chorus "The Limited" and they must observe the pc bs at school.

From what I have been told (and I am not nor will I ever be a catholic) a mass is something that is done for the dead. Kind of a way to pay a person out of perdition. So are they still trying to get Jesus out of perdition for paying for all our sins? Oh wait, catholics believe that one must still pay for their own sins in perdition so I guess Jesus didn't pay for our sins anyway. You live up to your name, "Ookie Wonderslug".
You would do well to leave the snide comments on other people's religions out of your "contributions" here. For one thing, you don't have the remotest shred of a clue concerning what you're yapping about, as the above paragraph clearly proves.
And, by the way, the giving of presents at Christmas comes from the conflation of two Catholic feasts, one being the feast of St. Nicholas (a bishop of a city in present-day Turkey who was imprisoned in the Roman persecutions, and who was famous for his generosity) and the other being the feast of the Epiphany. You've maybe heard of that one, it concerns some wise men offering gifts to the Christ child.
And no, we don't give gifts to trees.

Only insipid Baptists are PC. If they're fundamentalist Baptists, they are definitely NOT PC.

Walmart's has a wonderful selection of Christian christmas cards. I usually buy them the day after Christmas for the next year. Sometimes they're all gone but quite often they aren't. I found some nice ones at the dollar store this past year, too. They were American Greetings cards left over from whenever. They're still out there but you do have to search. Try Christian book stores as well.

My husband gives me gift certificates at Christmas and I wait until the Christmas merchandise is 75% off and I get some really neat sweaters and things for nearly nothing.

The gates of hell shall not prevail against the gospel of Christ. Reprobate men can do what they will, but they will fail in the end and will be judged by the Holy God that created them. Dozens of successive roman emperors tried to stamp out Christianity - and not only failed but the Roman empire itself fell to the gospel of Christ (so much for the "slave religion" so-named by the infidel Neitszche!). Not learning from Rome's mistake, China tried to stamp out Christianity by force by scattering Christians all over China - this only served to spread the gospel far and wide through these solitary missionaries and there are now more Christians in China than in America.
I say, go for it, you secular culture marxists of America and ACLU (American Communists Leftist Union)! You will fail - that I guarantee! That Christ guarantees!

You are much more tolerant than the Empress Palpatine, who expects thought and planning to go into gifts for Her Highness.

Gap doesn't allow it's employees to say Merry Christmas. When I first heard about this STUPID policy I called my local Gap store where I purchased quite a lot of Christmas presents, and asked whether or not what I heard was true and the manager of the store refused to comment. It was utter insanity. I then ended the call by stating that I'd be returning all of the gifts that I purchased at the Gap, and that I did.

Catholic: Not PC Baptist: PC. Oh, am I being unsensative? Sorry.
No, you are just painting with entirely too broad of a brush. I believe Jerry Falwell himself is a Southern Baptist, who, I can tell you from personal experience (though I'm not a member), are NOT politically correct. I won't even mention the fact that there is not a problem with homosexual Baptist preachers taking advantage of their charges (though there are probably isolated incidents of it happening to their church as well). My point is, don't become the "pot calling the kettle black", so to speak (and the word is "insensitive").

Good for you! That is exactly the way to stop this nonsense in it's tracks. The anti-Christmas Nazis don't care about free speech or insulting Christianity, but they care about their wallets.
The way I see it, if a store wants to pretend Christmas doesn't exist, that's their right. But such stores should not be surprised if we don't include them in our Christmas shopping plans. All it would take to kill the PC garbage for good is for a bunch of Christians to get together and boycott the Gap until they changed their policy. As much as retailers depend on Christmas sales (they can call it "Holiday Sales" if they want, but how much of the total $$$ spend is coming from people buying Hannukah or Kwanzaa gifts?), that would scare them all into doing the right thing very quickly.
To: Chancellor Palpatine
Well, he DOES give me other things, too. But I do like the gift certificates, especially to Kaufmann's. I prefer buying my clothes at the second hand stores but I do like the after-Christmas sales and excuses for me to expand my five-closet wardrobe (smile). Merry Christmas!

Psa 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Psa 2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Psa 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
These are the words of God spoken through David( Acts 4:25)
