Pinging a big Blix fan. ;^)

The present charade is not, at least from my point of view, intended to reveal anything about Saddam. Bush gave the UN this opportunity to show who and what the UN is made of.

Saddam is no mystery. Everything you need to know about Saddam is in the public record. Whatever we have in our classified files is only icing on the cake. There is enough right on the surface to justify a military incursion, now.

It is the UN that is on trial. And they are revealing who they are for all the world to see. If anyone is looking.

But unfortunately, most people are easily distracted, by small shiny toys, by UN pronouncements, by officious looking old men and earnest young ones in white SUV's. But adults, at least, should not for a moment take them seriously.

I suggest we give them a little more time, let them chase their tails around Baghdad a little longer, then when we are ready, give them 24 hours to evacuate themselves, and put an end to both this pantomime silliness and Saddam's regime.

If Jed Babbin knows the locations and products of these noted WMD sites, what excuse does Blind-Man Blix have for not knowing them?
