Yes Happygal, Landru was a bit weird. You might even say eccentric or quirky. In addition to his poor cultural tastes, I remember ol' Landru mostly for:

1. His poor fashion sense - after all, leisure suits and platform shoes are no longer stylish
2. That ill-fitting hairpiece
3. The yellow FORD pickup with all those Mark Martin stickers in the windows
4. The URDNAL vanity plates on his 67 FORD Mustang
5. His propensity to misspell at least one word in every post
6. Those wacky mirrors on the toes of his boots
7. The close bond he maintained with FReepers Arne Fufkin and Sabertooth.

Oh yeah, Landru was always a dyed-in-the-wool Ford man and used to speak soooo breathlessly about "HIS BOY", Mark Martin. I know Landru claims to be a straight, heterosexual man, but the way he usedta speak about Mark Martin made me wonder...
