AH, they aren't cookies, but CANDY, nearly no cook at that. I made the mistake and used honey roasted Peter Pan in them and it effected the way they stayed together. They were to soft and didn't stay frozen long enough for me to get them dipped in the chocolate/parafin mix. Guess you could say they are homemade Reese's cups. I did try one year to use a cookie cutter on them to make them fancy. Didn't work to well. When I was first learning to make them I didn't freeze them. Which is the key to fast and easy dipping them.

Peanut butter is one of my favorite cookies too. :-)

That is funny, as I was reading the recipe I thought the very same thing, "homemade Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Yes I do agree, using a cookie cutter on these loose babies would be frustrating at best...Thanks so much...any more? LOL
