That tired old man (Lott)____________(fill in the blank) is a segregationist. He is a fossil that needs to step aside for younger brighter men. That could be said of at least 60 of 100 Senators by someone or another. However, the article wasn't entirely pertaining to the Lott issue. Lott's case was used to bring out another point. Thanks for playing, I see you read only the first two paragraphs

Like my dad, he would be 83 now if alive, and he was such a bigot. I like to think if he were still alive today, he would have put that behind him! We have come such a long way in this country in such a short time! I didn't know much about black people until junior high when the black girls joined us at Campfire Girls summer camp. They were lovely! Then when I went to 10th grade our school was integrated. I met some more lovely girls and the president of the Student Union was a black guy, he was VERY popular, and good in sports. He didn't allow his skin color to be an issue. Those were the good ole days, 1960s, when the blacks and whites first integrated and we all got along great, BEFORE J Jackson and A Sharpton messed things up!!!!!!!! I had a very close friend named Margaret. She was a black girl and just the nicest, sweetest, smartest person you could ever meet. She died instantly in a car wreck in the late 1960s. I still miss her sweet, smiling face!!!!!
