Yes.
Stating that his remarks were stupid does not make a person a fool.

Has he been a good majority leader?
IMO No.
While agreeing with the dems always makes me rethink my position (even a broken clock is right twice a day), I continue to wish that Mr. Lott was not majority leader. Being a good leader requires leadership. Lets see... The impeachment hearings. No wait, that's not a good example. Do you have any (positive )examples of his leadership?

I agree, and i've been supporting Lott since this whole witch hunt started, not because I like him personally but because I believe in doing what's right regardless of what the majority thinks.
