BTW, watching Washington Journal just now, Brian Lamb said that Bush was AT the party where Lott made these remarks, and Lamb was questioning why Bush waited so long to react.
Bush was NOT there when these remarks were made. I hate inaccuracies in the press!

You are correct, Howlin as usual.
I've heard Mary say several times(once on Russert's show) that the everyday grind(long hours and traveling) were keeping her away from her children.
