Ok, so what is your solution to the Lott situation. Just attack the democrats? Call them hypocrites? What will tht accomplish. Who's listening? Who pays attention when Democrats are hypocrits? Nobody.
Now what do we do with Lott? He's our boy. Do we let him slide?

Im glad to see you finally remembered that I already address your accusations. Let me make this simple: this is all about politics, of course Im going to highlight selective moral outrage on the part of the democrats who have consistently tried panting me and others of my political persuasion as being racist. You seem to think that democrats get a pass.
What will it accomplish you ask? Well, the democrats are now a campaign of pure demagoguery after suffering a huge midterm defeat. They manage to keep the black vote tightly locked up and this is part of the reason. Just 6 weeks ago Clinton praised a segregationist, but for some reason we find people like you saying republicans cannot talk about that. You sound like the political correct Gestapo crowd trying to censor any mentioning of Democrats.
You ask who is listening? Well, obviously this is a conservative forum and I am surely hoping plenty of freepers are listening. Hopefully if we quit setting around doing nothing as you suggest we do, then we can get our message out on say Fox News, which allows a conservative voice. Best of all, the American people who are be berated by Democrats, the Liberal Media, and so forth are listening and maybe itd be nice if we could voice something despite your wishes that we shut up.
And for the record: I pay attention when Democrats are hypocrites. The Free Republic pays attention. Obviously you dont and you have no desire to.
What do we do with Lott? Simple. We force him to step down as majority leader and make it clear as Bush DID that his comments dont reflect what we believe and that we are indeed not racist. Although 6 weeks ago when Clinton did it
.there was no call for an apology, no media firestorm, or anything else. And best of all
you didnt care.
