NIGERIA: Christians Organizing for Religious War
December 11, 2002; The final tally for the "Miss World Riots" was 220 dead, more than 1,500 injured. Property damage was extensive with 16 churches, nine mosques, some 200 homes and three schools burned down. Over 30,000 fled their homes. More ominously, Christian groups are now saying out loud that they are tired of this Islamic violence and will organize to counter it.
December 4, 2002; Fundamentalist Moslems have threatened to kill 16 journalists for writing stories they feel showed disrespect for Islam.

At least the Nigerian Christians GET IT. They actually KNOW what they ar up against. I wonder how many American Christians would be willing to fight. Not many I bet.

Good for them, at least they have the balls to call a spade a spade. Muslims are their enemies and ours as well, maybe we'll wake up & smell the roses as well.

I think your wrong, especially after 911.

We flew to Chicago not long after 9/11 and our ride to the hotel was a Nigerian student working part time as a cabbie. Anyway, he was a Christian and let us know that President Bush's statements about the "Religion of Peace" were utterly false and downright offensive to him. He proceeded to describe the atrocities committed against his family and friends. Bush/Powell/Fleischer need to get their collective heads out of their asses.

This might actually turn out to be a trend throughout the world in the coming months! There is a paradigm shift where people are starting to get seriously tired of Islam and its 'fruits', and unlike the past (where they just simmered and then cooled off) folks are starting to think about taking active (and at times pro-active) steps!
After all it is frustrating to expect some real action by (the so called peaceful) muslims, and yet all they do is obfuscate and give excuses why someone would go and kill myriads of innocents! People do not want excuses why Al queda would kill 200 Kenyans, or why Hamas would kill 12 Israeli kids, or why Abu Sayyef would chop of the heads of missionaries ...they want action! They want the so called peaceful Muslims who claim their faith has been hijacked to stand up against those they claim 'hijacked' their religion.
And since they do not do that resentment grows, and i guess a time will come when it will erupt.
Nigeria may just be the inception point of a much larger trend.

I can understand your pain. In my home nation of Kenya there is deep resentment towards muslims since all they have been doing is offering asinine explanations on why Al queda does what it does ....yet that sotty group has killed hundreds of Kenyans (eg in 1998 Al queda killed 200+ Kenyans just to get at 9 Americans in the Embassy bombings).
Yet those darn muslims still obfuscate stuff instead of aiding the authorities weed out the radical elements in their midst!
And to make matters worse muslims comprise slightly less than 10% of Kenya's population ...yet they act like they are owed something (and many of them are refugees from neighboring countries which are wartorn, and hence are only in Kenya because the government tried to be benevolent). Personally i think when you consitute less than 10% of the population of a country you'd better not p!$$ off the other 90%!
As for the Serbian matyrs i know their story ....and it is sad that Clinton aided in some of the massacres (during the Bosnia campaigns)! That was truly sad.
Anyways go to WWW.STOPISLAM.COM for a look at the handiwork of Islam ....i could post some of the pictures but i think my post would be deleted, hence i guess you will have to go there yourself. Look at the section titled 'pictures/footage', and also look at the section titled 'special reports.' Worth a look!

December 4, 2002; Fundamentalist Moslems have threatened to kill 16 journalists for writing stories they feel showed disrespect for Islam. This is an example of why our government should not fall into the "you can't disrespect Islam" trap by condemning this or that American (Falwell, Robertston, Graham...) for their personal beliefs. HELLO? Out west here a person is entitled to freedom of speech, religion and all the rest. THAT is the point that should be made when Bush and Co. are asked to denounce an indivduals comments. THAT is the big difference between us and them. It's spelled F R E E D O M !

Bush announced humanitarian/medical foreign aid to Africa soon after his UN sppech in Monterey. He was resoundingly bashed at Free Republic.
Subsequent to the world enviro conference this year, enviro/market based foreign aid to Afica was announced. Bush was bashed at FR over this.
In recent weeks the administration announced futher aid to Nigeria, some direct and some thru the UN. Futher bashing at FR.
Nigeria figures heavily in US energy plans. They have been cheating on their OPEC quotas and the US is trying to convince them to leave OPEC.

At long last. Either the Christians will organize, or they'll be exterminated to the last child.

If you believe that Bush et al, really give a Rats behind about whether Islam is peaceful(excuse me while I throw up)your not reading between the lines. Can you imagine if Bush and the boys said what they really think, what the response of the EVIL DUMs and the rest of the race baiters would be yelling. It would make Lott look like a card carrying member of the NAALCP.
