Wow!!! Now there's a good-looking couple (the Bushes and also the quarters).

There have already been some really, really good entries, but to be sure I get the top ten I have to wait until after the deadline and all entries are in before I make my list.

I worked overnight and did the day sleeper thing today (although I didn't do enough of the day sleeper thing - YAAAWWWN)

I resorted to none violent means. I tricked him..fed him lunch after which he grew sleepy and toddled off for an afternoon snooze, thus freeing up the 'puter for me to use.

10 p.m. versus midnight PST? Try not to think of it as a "discrepancy." That's a so, I don't know, direct way of putting it. Try to think of it as a loophole. Billie did put in a graphic about cheating, if I recall.

Truth is, Mudboy Slim won't be around to start looking at the thread until later. Our goal was 10 p.m. EST, 1 a.m. PST. Instead we posted 10 p.m. PST and then at the end mignight PST. The only fair conclusion a reader might draw is that we, the judges, don't have a clue when our contest will actually end!

Ah, so be it. Eat, drink and be merry!

we, the judges, don't have a clue when our contest will actually end!

I suppose with the right attorney, a friendly court and an injunction, I could delay getting my entry in until sometime in January.
