President Bush began his day with a phone call to Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen. He also had his daily intelligence and FBI briefings before he met with Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of Interior and the Chairman of his Council on Environmental Quality to announce a new initiative to reduce the threat of wildfire in the western states. Oh, and Bush taped an interview with Barbara Walters that will air on 20/20 Friday night. During that interview, the President said he would support a voluntary vaccination against small pox. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

OK, in the few minutes before this thread is taken into the backroom, let me throw in my 2 cents. Forget President Bush's legs. He was just never sexier than when he gave that State of the Union address. That was a very very good address. Nothing like the leader of the free world laying down the law. He might as well have been Superman. God has blessed our nation.

Hi! Short on pics tonight, but I am glad to see pleasant people here!

We attended the Christmas program that my grandson and granddaughter were in tonight. Grandson (kindergarten) was an angel with all of his class. Pre-school (granddaughter) were all shepherds. LOL! Now we will have a picture of my grandson as an angel and my granddaughter as a shepherd! (Last year grandson was a shepherd. It goes by what class you are in.) I thought it was kid of humerous.

It really put me in the Christmas mood. They attend a Lutheran school, so they had memorized lots of poems and scripture, and of course, sang "Away in a Manger."

Also, the kindergarten had a bell choir (grandson included) that played "Silent Night." They had been given different colored bells, and the teacher held up cards with the different colors for the appropriate tune. It was really amazing how well they did.

Now, I am going to check the news, avoiding arguments about Christmas cards, Trent Lott, and other assorted tail-chasing events.

Mr Ohio has very muscular legs, and that has always pleased me...........I really didn't want to marry someone with smaller legs than I have! I crossed them off the list after the first date! :o)
