A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 12/11/02

President Bush began his day with a phone call to Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen. He also had his daily intelligence and FBI briefings before he met with Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of Interior and the Chairman of his Council on Environmental Quality to announce a new initiative to reduce the threat of wildfire in the western states. Oh, and Bush taped an interview with Barbara Walters that will air on 20/20 Friday night. During that interview, the President said he would support a voluntary vaccination against small pox. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Adore that Max. BUT--he is #2 of my Russ characters. #1 is John Biebe. Then Max then Cort. :-D

I'd be fun for you to try. Mel's just got that confidence and attitude that really flips my lid. He's also pro-family (6 kids) and anti-Hollywood.

Besides, Russell's a little too rough around the edges for me.

Now, how 'bous Ewan McGregor?

You missed the FReepin' 60's, ForGod'sSake!!

Aren't you a tad embarrassed sometimes, like I am, to have been a part of that mess?

BTW. Joe Willy has the most banged up, scarred, nastiest lookin' knees I've ever seen on a human being.

He's also one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

"I'VE GOT A SHEPHERD!!!!!! They're the BEST dogs ever."

We loved Kelsey and my father-in-law has had AT LEAST 15 shepards from the same breeder up in Vermont...beautiful dogs, and so smart and loving. But they attract health problems it seems...I'm more inclined to get a mutt mix heavy on the lab, most likely chocolate. If the Missuz wants to get another Shepard to pal around with my lab, all the better.

Ewan MacGregor. Oh the irony. I belong to a Russell board (see my profile) and everyone rages about him. I haven't seen him except for Star Wars I. Not all that impressed, but I haven't seen all that much of his stuff.

Russ is really not that rough around the edges. He's just Australian. ;-) (He just needs a good woman. too bad I'm taken. ;-D )

WHAT? you live in Kentucky?? No way!

I ended up in STL b/c my husband moved me out here for a job last year, which he promptly lost to a takeover. Now we are moving to Milwaukee for a new job. He'd better keep this one--this is the last d@mn bar exam I am going to take!!!!

I might have, but Mr. Maigrey didn't. He remembers the Kennedy assination, and the lunar expeditions.

He teases me about being so young, and I ask him if he took his Geritol pills today?

Do you need some geritol pills also? 8-)

My dog had the hip surgery at SIX MONTHS!!!!!! We knew, going in, that that was a probability, but we didn't expect it to be that young. She's now 8 years, and doing FINE.

We had a WONDERFUL mutt once.....either way, in my NEVER humble opinion, getting a dog is great.

If you want, I have a site from California, (might not work for you....) that adopts out Shepherds.

"I get to vote in my First Presidential Election in two years and I'm so excited. I bet you guys can't guess who I'm going to vote for!"

Lucky you...my first Presidential vote was for Ronald Reagan in '84 and I have never been more sure that I was voting for the right man for the job!! If the next coupla years go as I expect that they will, Dubyuh in '04 may just approach that wonderfully-content feeling again!!
