Neil Boortz: What a putz. I LOVE his whining about Republicans who actually dare to oppose abortion, and his assumption that opposition to abortion--which more than 70% of the citizenry favors limiting to some reasonable degree--"chases even more women into the open arms of the Democratic Socialist party."

He sneers to Republican opponents of abortion, "You are serving the cause of freedom so well."

Hey, Neil, you STUPID Libertine

putz: What is the point of having liberty if you can't use it to oppose such a monumental evil as abortion?

Typical Libertine: Can't stand the notion that you might actually have to say "no" to immorality. Comes from all the drugs they've ingested over the years, I suppose.

Ya, Bobby Franklin of the Georgia General Assembly is doing such great work at attracting voters to the Republican party and the pro-life movement with his legislation which will require a pregnant woman to obtain a “death warrant” before she can have an abortion. The abortion will be referred to as an “execution.” And the women will have to gone on trial where the mother will be required to testify in open court as to why the “execution” should take place. A doctor who is found to have performed an “execution” without a “death warrant” having been signed will be jailed for five years and will lose his medical license.

And here is what Boortz said, and what you attempted to quote above...

Here is a lesson in political reality for you Republicans out there:

1) There are many women who are voting for Democrat candidates who are far more aligned with the Republican philosophy than the Democratic, but won’t vote for Republicans because of people like Bobby Franklin.
2) There are virtually NO women who would otherwise vote for Democrats, but who instead vote Republican because of people like Bobby Franklin.
3) Abortion is legal, and it's going to remain legal. Period.

So … thank you Bobby Franklin, and a big thanks to all of your religious fanatic-zealot friends, for chasing even more women into the open arms of the Democratic Socialist party. You are serving the cause of freedom so well.

Boortz is dead on right.

Neil has several good ideas, but can sometimes be very boorish. Libertarianism has been outed as a joke since 9-11.

Someone puts on a picture of a weapon system and you turn it into an argument on abortion? Geesh! I'm beginning to really get tired of one issue fanatics that can't talk about anything else. Even though I don't approve of abortion, I don't think it helps your cause to make it the yardstick by which all things are measured.
