Egg nog - yuck! That's the only thing I don't like about the holidays. Ever since I was a kid and my parents would try to shove that crap down my throat, I have hated egg nog. Barf. It's thick and creepy. I think there are raw eggs in it. Gag. And people who drink it are sickening, especially those who dump booze in it. That's even worse. People getting drunk off of egg nog. I can't think of anything more disgusting. I feel like throwing up right now just thinking of all the egg nog signs I'm going to have to tolerate this holiday season and they'll be serving it everywhere I go. Have mercy!!!! P.S. I think democrats all love egg nog.

Ok, while we sharing holiday-dark-side stories, here's mine:

Every hear at our office holiday party I bring in a lot of really good food. This year: a fillet of wild salmon with dill sauce, a turkey breast, and a ham. Of course, there's leftovers the next day (which is today). Every year the same flaming liberal in my workgroup tries to "steal" the leftover meat for his family before leftover day.

Yesterday I thought I had outsmarted him: I put tons and tons of foil over the ham and pinched the sides to shame him into not going into it and sneaking a huge slab for his family. A friend of mine at work said she saw him cutting off half of the ham. I checked my foil security perimeter and all appeared well. I declared the ham safe.

Well, we just unwrapped it for lunch and . . . our thief unwrapped my layers and layers of foil, took half of the remaining ham (about $10 worth of food), and then carefully redid the foil so I wouldn't be able to tell he had been there! The guy's a lawyer!! ROFL -- what can you do? We're all kinda giggling about it here.
