The problem with double standards is not that ours are higher, it's that the Democrats' are lower. The solution is not to become as protective of the stupidity of ours, it's to be more aggressive against the stupidity of theirs.

Agreed. We are, and in fact, hold ourselves to a higher standard than our counterparts on the other side of the aisle.

I do not know what is in the man's heart but we can not have people in leadership roles making stupid comments like this.

My choices for majority leader would be Nichols, Brownback or Frist.
