Lost Tribes Tell No Tales.
Thats a pretty good line, and tells a pretty big story, or stories.
So many people and groups have so much invested in the status quo something like this really upsets them. Think of all the books which have to be rewritten? Think of all the teachers and preachers who have been telling a different story for so long, and now it turns out "the earth is not at the center of the universe". This is traumatic. It becomes more important for the Lost Tribes to stay lost for the sake of order than for the truth to be acknowledged. Organizations with very long change times like churchs and colleges cannot accept this easily, the Truth be damned!
I have noticed that fundamentalist types here seem especially insecure about anything theological. The slightest change from what they have bought in to causes lots of distress. Many of them are poorly or narrowly educated and their security blanket is easily threatened when shifted askew exposing their very small world. Others here seem threatened with having to "share" something which they have been taught was exclusively theirs, and they don't have the mental flexibility to entertain other possibilities.
We had a maid a few years ago who insisted the King James Bible was the only true Bible. While I like the KJV I never could convince her there were a number of editions of the KJV, some with substantial changes, and could she just tell me which of these she preferred? A closed and locked mind is a terrible thing to live with.
But while I don't say much here I do greatly appreciate your contribution to the factual base underlying rational discussion of this topic. It is clear you have done an immense amount of work in this field and I stand in awe of both the breadth and depth of your knowledge. You have expanded the minds of us all, and I even suspect you are mostly correct!
Keep up the very good work and don't let the bastards grind you down. They are not worthy of your contempt. They are the owners of their own problems.

So the Celts are part of the Lost Ten Tribes? On what basis do you state that?
